April Exhibitions are kicking off to a busy start!
The devil is in the details to be in multiple shows, and it’s a volley between excitement and angst! I suspect it is the photographer in me wanting to control everything who goes into hyper drive. I am thrilled and honored to be selected in all the events. That little voice in my head echos Sally Field’s, “I can’t deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me!“.
I am most excited about the Graduate Open Studios, an event a year in the making – organized by moi. The event includes a the 1st Annual GMU MFA Exhibit along with a Open Studio day where 16 graduates have taken over the GMU School of Art building. The group invited Judy J Sherman to curate the group show, her curator savvy and guidance is key to the shows success. She selected pieces as single works are masterful examples – as a group are arrestingly stunning.
